Born and raised in Windom, Minnesota, with a foundational work ethic shaped by farm work, Dr. Reed pursued his medical degree at the University of Iowa. His residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital began in 1994, where he took on several leadership roles, including Chief Resident and Chief of Staff, contributing significantly to improvements in hospital and clinic operations, staff education, and healthcare philanthropy.

He also recently attracted two additional dedicated physicians to join the practice, Dr. Scott Flaata and Dr. Laura Praeger, whose expertise and perspectives are strengthening the clinics care model.

Dr. Reed is highly respected by peers, evident in his consistent recognition as a Top Doctor in Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine. His genuine passion for medicine and the relationships he builds with patients highlight his unique position in the medical community.
